Event concept

The first run – start 08:00

This is a 2 lap course incorporating the cross
country running track as well as exploring the
single track available on the Eastern and
Southern slopes of Mt Stromlo.

After 5 km, the runners will be directed through
a timing chute - for teams there is the option of tagging the next team member; for soloists, it
will be a case of going around a second time.

The bike leg – start 09:30

Begins with a le Mans start - because you
haven’t had enough running yet.

After a 200 metre run the riders will exit the criterium track at the southern gate and
complete a 20km loop incorporating the
Mt Stromlo trunk trail.

On their return they will be directed through the timing chute – for teams, tag the next rider, for soloists, take a deep breath, crack a gu, and
push on for your second and final lap.

The final run will suit the speedsters. That’s all
